The Model Minority

The Model Minority is a short film that follows a young East Asian woman as she begins a new job, only to face a barrage of casual racism and microaggressions from her white coworkers. Isolated and struggling to fit in, she finds solace in the unexpected kindness of her boss, who seems to be the only one willing to stand up for her. As their relationship deepens into something romantic, she begins to believe she’s found an ally—until subtle shifts reveal that he, too, may be complicit in the very system that oppresses her. The film explores themes of identity, fetishization, and the illusion of safety within the “model minority” myth.

Civil Fire III

Civil Fire III shifts focus to the former villain of the first two films, now a reluctant anti-hero on a mission to stop his own brother from assassinating the President of the East. Set in a fractured, war-torn future where the United States has split into rival Eastern and Western factions, the film explores shifting loyalties and moral ambiguity in a nation divided. As the story unfolds, the villain’s quest forces him to confront his past and question the ideals that once drove him, blurring the line between rebellion and redemption.
